my week in short

On Monday I went for day surgery. Where they (the hospital personnel) stuck a tube down my throat and cut pieces out of my esophagus. The worst part was having the iv put in. first a lady attempted to do it, she put the large, tube like needle, in my hand, and missed the vein altogether. She called over the male nurse and he put the IV in my arm. It hurt so badly! I could honestly feel the thick needle moving in my arm every time I moved it was painful too. The male nurse told me to turn on my side as he plugged me into the IV. (The type of Iv I had, was just a needle that attached to a syringe, so they could give repeated injections of Valium.) Within 3 seconds I was fast a sleep. I don’t remember much else for the whole day. My surgery started at 3 and I got out at 6. Any time after 3 is a sort of mystery, I can’t remember very much of it at all.
Mom says I asked the same question over and over again forgetting I had asked, That whent on into Wednesday.

( new story writen at a different time)

The pain was so immense it will take me a while to be able to tell the story.
On Tuesday the Valentines left for china.
Mom got me up at 5:05 am along with my other siblings. We got dressed and ran out the door, and went to the Valentine house, when we got there the children had just gotten up.
We drove them to the airport (in their van) at 6:00 am, mom had called shine fm and asked them to play a special song for the valentines. We all cried. I know I’m sappy but I mean hello! The Valentines are gone!
Part of my Family, though not blood related, is gone! Those I call my cousins are like brothers and sisters. She who I call my aunt is like a second mom. And the man I call uncle, was the closest I’ve had to father in long time. So forgive my sappy writing, and bear with me for not writing sooner.

well i can't remember much else.

Sorry you're feeling so bad! It's hard to watch people that you love so much walk away not knowing how often you'll even be able to correspond with them, nevermind see them again. (hugs)

If you don't mind my asking, what was your surgery for? Nothing serious I hope!

Pretentious
Ah, yes. It is I. :)

*shudder* I hate the thought of having surgery.
That must be so awful to have your friends move to China. I'll pray for you.

the surgery was call gastoscopy ( spelling) it has to go with swalowing ( gastro=into stomach, well sort of.) a camera ( scopy=scope=camera)
My doctor thought i had Cancer so he rushed me for the surgery.i thankfully don't have cancer. the reason the thought i did was beacause i have problems swallowing, my food gets stuck just before my stomach. you can guess the agony.

Well, I've actually been "gracing" your blog for some time now. I've even lectured you! haha Thank God you don't have cancer! It sounds like you have something similar to my husband. He started taking something to help with other problems he was having and that cleared up too, praise God! Drop me a line if you want more details. ref_sunbeam@yahoo.com
